Lindsey grew up in Newcastle which instilled in her a lifelong love of Newcastle United and the ability to love a Greggs sausage roll as if it were a gourmet snack. Which it is. She began her career as a Trade Union lawyer, then moved into IT, and had a long career in technology sales in London, Tokyo and San Francisco.

She moved to Portugal with her husband and two rescue dogs. When not at her desk writing, you'll find her throwing sticks on the beach for the dogs to ignore or trying to learn enough Portuguese to eavesdrop on cafe conversations to fuel her imaginary characters.
